Porcelain is great at mimicking natural tooth enamel due to its physical properties and ability to reflect light in the same way that tooth enamel does. This takes about 1-2 weeks, and after they are made, you will be called back to the dental office to have the veneers attached to your teeth.
Since the process for porcelain veneers is lengthier and requires the use of a dental laboratory, they tend to cost more than composite veneers. Porcelain veneers are much more stain-resistant than composite veneers, but you should still be careful to avoid dark substances such as coffee, red wine, and berries.
